Principality of Monaco - Illumination

In late November of 2019, I was wandering down from La Turbie and had the chance to take a photograph of Monaco's breathtaking scenery from the trial path descending the hills. The shift from day to night was truly remarkable to witness, and my photo was able to capture the noticeable change in light as the sun's rays disappeared, indicating the end of the day and the start of the evening just before the Principality's lights came on.

I enjoy capturing moments like this where there is a gradual shift in brightness or darkness, as it adds depth and contrast to the image between light and dark tones ….
